Hi! I have been blessed to have been teaching at KCS for the past seven years. I am teaching fourth grade this year, after teaching third for the past 6 years. I will have the unique experience of "looping" with my last year's class. Looping entails moving up with my class and having the opportunity to witness two years of educational growth.
I have been teaching for ten years, but I graduated in 1996 from Indiana University with a BS in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I took a while off to be a stay at home mom and then started teaching again when my youngest daughter started school. I currently finished my master's degree in education. I have three children, Xavier, Tyler, (twins) and Allison. I have been happily married for over 18 years to Terry. In my free time I enjoy reading and scrapbooking.
I am happy to have the opportunity to daily teach about Christ and his plan for us. A Christian School gives me the ability to instill wonderful truths from the Bible into the daily lives of my classroom children.
