Last Day of School- Thursday, May 27th

SCHOOL OFFICE CLOSING ON FRIDAYS THIS SUMMER!
The school office will be closed on Fridays
during the summer. Our summer office
hours will be 8-4 Monday
through Thursday.
LUNCH INFORMATION
Please note: We will be ordering lunches for Monday,
Tuesday, and Wednesday, May 24th-26th only. Please bring
a sack lunch the last day of school, May 27th unless your childˇ¦s
class is doing something special. The lunchroom will not be
open.
FINAL BOX TOPS COLLECTION
We will be having one more collection of any remaining box
tops you may have for this school year. Please send in any
that you have by next Tuesday so we can get a head start on
sorting and having them ready for the next mailing.
Remember to keep on clipping for Kingsway over the summer
because next school year we will again be doing contests,
drawings and other exciting box top collection programs. This
is free money for our school and everyone can help us earn it.
Thanks to everyone who sent in box tops this year.
FIELD DAY
Thursday, May 27th, is our Field Day. Bring a sack lunch
unless your class has special plans! Students may wear
shorts, no more than 3ˇ¨ above the knee and not extending
below the knee. Modest t-shirts with no offensive logos or
slogans may be worn.
NOTE FROM THE STAFF ACCOUNTANT: Kindergarten
and 8th Grade Graduation is right around the corner. Please
remember that your school account balance must be paid in
full in order for students to participate in graduation/closing
ceremonies. Also, as the end of this school year approaches
we would appreciate your help with a few things to make a
smooth transition into bookkeeping for 2010-2011.
„« Final statements will be sent out on May 28th, one
week later than usual. Payment is still due on
June 10th.
„« Our policy states that your studentˇ¦s report card will
not be mailed and Edline will be blocked until
balances have been paid in full.
„« If your child is not returning, records will not be
forwarded to the new school until the balance is paid.
„« Please write a separate check when you are making a
payment for 2010-2011 school year.
Feel free to call me if you have any questions or bookkeeping
concerns. My summer office hours will be Monday ˇV

NOTE FROM THE NURSE
Dear Parents,
If you have dropped off any medication for your child, please
stop by the nurseˇ¦s office sometime before the end of school.
Any medication left at school will be destroyed. Thank you for
all of the support and encouragement you and your children
have given us this year. We have been blessed. Have a
wonderful time this summer making memories together.
