Greetings!
I am Olivia Shaw and I teach art for Kingsway. Kingsway has been a true blessing in my life! There are so many great people here with many diverse talents, all working for one purpose. I'm glad to be a part of it!
I grew up in the small town of Farmland (no kidding!) IN. I have one sister, Amber, who works as an accountant for the Murat Centre downtown Indy. I have no children, unless you count my cat Georgia, who sometimes, is like a small child!
I have been at Kingsway since 2003. I am a graduate of the University of Indianapolis with a degree in Visual Arts Education K-12. Prior to joining KCS, I was involved with the Children's Museum of Indianapolis, where I worked in School Services and Gallery Interpretation. Now that I'm teaching I still go back and volunteer at TCM in the new Dinosphere gallery.
I have a sweet tooth for painting, so I work part-time as a scenic painter/artist for the Scottish Rite Cathedral downtown Indy. When I'm not involved in creative explorations, I like to read, listen to music and spend time with family/friends.
