Greetings!
May you be blessed for having an interest in Christian Education during the Middle School Years!
Just to give you a brief biographical sketch...
I was born and raised in eastern North Carolina but decided to attend college in Knoxville, TN at Johnson Bible College. There I earned my B.S. degree, majoring in Elementary Education and Bible. While I was there, I also met and married my husband who was raised on the west side of Indianapolis. After graduating from Johnson we moved our family to Indiana.
Kingsway became our church home and my employer in 1989, beginning my teaching career as a third grade teacher. Since then, I have served as 4th grade teacher, bookkeeper, middle school Bible teacher, guidance counselor, assistant principal and now I am blessed to serve as middle school principal. During these years, I have continued my professional education by earning my Masters in Education and Administrator's Certificate from Indiana Wesleyan University.
My purpose in life is to glorify my Creator and do His good work until He calls me home. The good work He has given me is to be a servant leader here at K.C.S. My joy in work comes from seeing the staff and students grow in their knowledge and personal walk with the Lord Jesus Christ. My prayers are continually lifting up our community of parents, teachers, and students so that our good work together is unified in purpose and immersed in the truth of God's holy word.
