My name is Richard Laninga and I have been at Kingsway since 2005. I was born in Lynden, Washington in 1978, and lived there for 19 years. (You can learn more about Lynden, WA here: http://www.lyndenwa.org/
I went to Dordt College in Iowa for four years. While in college I participated in Cross Country and Track and Field for four years.
Before I came to Kingsway I taught at Faith Christian School for three years. Faith Christian is located on the east side of Pennsylvania about 5 miles from New Jersey. We lived in a small borough called Nazareth.
I have a lovely wife a daughter (1 year), and another baby on the way.
My favorite sports/hobies are running, cycling, basketball, football, hiking, and disc golf.
Yes I do realize that I live in Colts Country, but I wasn't born or raised here. My favorite teams are the Seattle Seahawks, the Seattle Supersonics, the Seattle Mariners, and Michigan State University (basketball).
My favorite restaurant is Texas Roadhouse and Red Robin
My favorite TV shows are Friday Night Lights and The Office
